IKANN WELLNESS

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for Women in Fort Lauderdale

Intensive outpatient program for women at IKANN Wellness Fort Lauderdale

Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides structured, evidence-based mental health treatment with the flexibility to maintain your daily life. With evening sessions available, IOP is ideal for women who need more support than weekly therapy but don't require the full-day structure of our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP).

At IKANN Wellness, our IOP is designed exclusively for women — providing a safe, supportive environment where you can process trauma, build coping skills, and connect with peers who understand your experience. Whether you're stepping down from PHP, entering treatment for the first time, or managing a crisis while continuing to work, our IOP meets you where you are.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I work while attending IOP?

Yes. Our IOP offers evening sessions (5:00–8:00 PM) specifically designed for working professionals. You can maintain your job, school, or family responsibilities while receiving intensive treatment.

Does insurance cover IOP?

Yes. Most major insurance plans cover IOP services. Our admissions team will verify your benefits and explain your coverage before treatment begins. Call (786) 504-7626 for free insurance verification.

How long does IOP last?

IOP typically lasts 6–12 weeks, though duration varies based on individual progress and clinical needs. Some women transition to outpatient care sooner, while others benefit from a longer IOP engagement. We review progress regularly and adjust your plan accordingly.

What happens after I complete IOP?

After IOP, most women step down to our Outpatient Program (weekly individual therapy and optional group sessions) for continued support. We also offer alumni resources and ongoing holistic therapy access.

Is IOP only for women stepping down from PHP?

No. Many women enter IOP directly without completing PHP first. IOP is appropriate for women whose symptoms are significant but manageable enough to maintain daily functioning with structured evening support.
