Kosher Rehab Programs for Women From Brooklyn, NY
For Jewish women and families in Brooklyn, asking for help with addiction, trauma, anxiety, depression, eating concerns, or another mental health challenge can be difficult. In communities such as Boro Park, Williamsburg, Flatbush, Crown Heights, and Midwood, families often need more than treatment. They need a women-only environment that understands Jewish life, values privacy, respects religious observance, and provides meaningful clinical support.
IKANN Wellness is a Jewish women’s mental health and recovery center in South Florida. We were created specifically to provide Jewish women with a safe, supportive, and clinically grounded place to heal.
Our clinical office is located at 2901 Stirling Road, Suite 203, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33312. We serve women and families from Brooklyn and other Jewish communities who are considering care outside New York.
IKANN Wellness does not have a treatment location in Brooklyn. Families can speak privately with our team to determine whether our South Florida programs are clinically appropriate and realistic for their situation.
A Jewish Program Built for Jewish Women
At IKANN Wellness, Jewish life is not an add-on or a separate option. It is part of the environment, the community, and the care experience.
Women should not have to choose between receiving help and maintaining their Jewish identity. Our program is designed to support women in a setting where kosher food, Shabbat, Jewish holidays, community connection, family values, and cultural understanding are respected.
We understand that many women from close-knit Jewish communities carry concerns about privacy, stigma, family relationships, shidduchim, community expectations, and being misunderstood. Our team provides a respectful, confidential space where a woman can speak honestly and begin healing without feeling judged.
Clinical Care for Mental Health, Trauma, and Recovery
Every woman comes to treatment with her own history and needs. Some are struggling with addiction or substance use. Others are facing anxiety, depression, trauma, disordered eating, relationship challenges, self-harm, or the long-term effects of abuse.
IKANN Wellness provides women’s mental health and recovery services that may include:
- Partial Hospitalization Program, also called PHP or day programming
- Intensive Outpatient Program, also called IOP
- Women’s Night IOP
- Individual therapy
- Group therapy
- Family therapy and parent support
- Trauma-informed care
- EMDR therapy
- Holistic therapies
- Animal-assisted therapeutic activities
- Support for addiction, trauma, anxiety, depression, eating-disorder concerns, and co-occurring mental health challenges
The appropriate level of care depends on each woman’s needs and should be determined through a confidential clinical assessment.

A Fresh Start Away From Brooklyn
For some women, stepping away from the stress, triggers, relationships, or pressures of home can make it easier to focus fully on recovery. A change of environment may offer space to breathe, gain perspective, and begin building healthier patterns.
Traveling to Florida for care is a serious decision. Our team can speak with families about treatment needs, insurance verification, travel, living arrangements, family involvement, and whether a Florida-based program is the right next step.
Before making plans, families should understand:
- Whether PHP, IOP, outpatient therapy, or another level of care is appropriate
- Whether immediate hospital-based stabilization or detox is needed first
- What insurance benefits may be available
- Whether housing or supportive living may be appropriate
- How parents and family members can participate in treatment
- What the transition home may look like after treatment
IKANN Wellness can verify insurance benefits before a family makes a commitment. Visit ikannwellness.com/insurance/ or call 786-504-7626 to begin the process.
When Immediate Help Is Needed
If a woman is in immediate danger, has thoughts of suicide, cannot remain safe, needs urgent medical care, or may need medical detoxification, call or text 988, call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.
IKANN Wellness is an outpatient mental health and recovery center. Emergency or hospital-based stabilization may be necessary before outpatient treatment can begin.
