can be difficult to navigate alone.
A woman may be facing trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, disordered
eating, self-harm, or more than one concern at the same time. She deserves
care that sees the full picture and respects her Jewish identity, values,
privacy, and family circumstances.
IKANN Wellness is a fully Jewish women’s mental-health and recovery center
in South Florida. Jewish life is not a separate track or limited
accommodation. It is central to the environment, community, and support
provided to women and their families.
IKANN Wellness does not have a physical treatment location in Baltimore or
Maryland. We work with women and families from Baltimore and surrounding
communities who are considering Florida-based care. Conversations with our
team are private and confidential.
Care for the Whole Person
At IKANN Wellness, women receive support in a women-focused, fully Jewish
environment. Our team works with women facing addiction, trauma, anxiety,
depression, eating-disorder concerns, relationship difficulties, and
co-occurring mental-health challenges.
The appropriate level of care is determined through a confidential clinical
assessment. Services may include Partial Hospitalization Program, also
called PHP or day programming, Intensive Outpatient Program, also called
IOP, Women’s Night IOP, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy,
parent support, trauma-informed care, EMDR therapy, holistic therapies, and
animal-assisted therapeutic activities.
The IKANN Wellness and Yacholet Connection
IKANN Wellness works alongside Yacholet, a Jewish nonprofit organization in
South Florida that supports young Jewish women in crisis.
IKANN Wellness provides clinical mental-health and recovery services. For
eligible women, when appropriate, Yacholet may provide therapeutic
supportive living, mentoring, life-skills development, Jewish community
engagement, and practical support.
Yacholet offers a warm Jewish living environment with kosher lifestyle
support, Shabbat and holiday connection, and meaningful community. Clinical
and therapeutic services are provided by IKANN Wellness.
Together, IKANN Wellness and Yacholet may provide a connected path for
eligible women that includes clinical care, therapeutic supportive living
when appropriate, family involvement, Jewish community, and support for
building a more stable future.

A Private Path Forward Outside Maryland
For some women, stepping away from pressure, triggers, relationships, or
expectations at home can make it easier to focus on healing. A new
environment can provide privacy, perspective, and a healthier daily routine.

programs may be appropriate.
Important topics may include whether PHP, IOP, outpatient therapy, or
another level of care is appropriate; whether hospital-based stabilization

When Immediate Help Is Needed
If a woman is in immediate danger, has thoughts of suicide, cannot remain
safe, needs urgent medical care, or may need medical detoxification, call

IKANN Wellness is an outpatient mental-health and recovery center.
Emergency or hospital-based stabilization may be needed before outpatient
treatment begins.
