Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides structured, evidence-based mental health treatment with the flexibility to maintain your daily life. With evening sessions available, IOP is ideal for women who need more support than weekly therapy but don't require the full-day structure of our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP).
At IKANN Wellness, our IOP is designed exclusively for women — providing a safe, supportive environment where you can process trauma, build coping skills, and connect with peers who understand your experience. Whether you're stepping down from PHP, entering treatment for the first time, or managing a crisis while continuing to work, our IOP meets you where you are.
Program structure: 9 hours per week · 3 sessions × 3 hours · Evening scheduling available · Most insurance accepted
Not sure which program is right for you? Here's how our two intensive programs compare:
| Feature | PHP | IOP |
|---|---|---|
| Hours per day | 5–6 hours | 3 hours |
| Days per week | 5 days | 3 days |
| Individual therapy | 3×/week | 1×/week |
| Psychiatric oversight | Daily availability | Weekly check-in |
| Best for | Crisis stabilization, step-down from inpatient, complex diagnoses | Maintenance, step-down from PHP, working professionals |

We offer profession-specific and population-specific IOP tracks to ensure your treatment addresses the unique stressors of your life:
Evening sessions designed for firefighters, police officers, and EMTs. Trauma-informed care with peers who understand the job. Addresses cumulative trauma, PTSD, hypervigilance, and the unique stigma of seeking help in first responder culture.
After-school scheduling for teachers and education professionals. Focused on burnout, compassion fatigue, anxiety, and the emotional toll of caring for students. Sessions available after 4 PM to accommodate school schedules.
Our core IOP program for women navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance use, and life transitions. Evidence-based group and individual therapy in a women-only environment with flexible evening scheduling.

After IOP, most women step down to our Outpatient Program (weekly individual therapy and optional group sessions) for continued support. We also offer alumni resources and ongoing holistic therapy access.
