Individual therapy can also be combined with our Partial Hospitalization Program, Intensive Outpatient Program, equine-assisted therapy, holistic therapies, and family therapy for a comprehensive treatment experience.

What to Expect in Your First Session

Your first session is a comprehensive intake assessment lasting approximately 60 minutes. Your therapist will:

Review your history — mental health, medical, family, and substance use
Discuss your current symptoms and what brought you to therapy
Explore your goals — what does healing look like for you?
Begin building a personalized treatment plan
Answer any questions you have about the process
There's no pressure to share everything in the first session. Trust is built over time, and your therapist will meet you exactly where you are.
