Our Team – Jewish Track

The quality of a treatment program is ultimately determined by the people delivering it.

Credentials matter. Licensure matters. Clinical experience matters.

But for many Jewish women, there is another factor that matters just as much.

Will the people helping me understand my world?

Will I have to spend the first five sessions explaining community expectations, family dynamics, Shabbos, privacy concerns, or why asking for help feels so complicated?

At IKANN Wellness, the answer is no.

Our team combines clinical expertise with genuine cultural understanding, creating an environment where women can begin the healing process without first educating their treatment providers.

A Multidisciplinary Approach

Recovery is rarely one dimensional.

A woman struggling with anxiety may also be dealing with trauma. A woman entering treatment for addiction may also need nutritional support, family therapy, psychiatric care, and nervous system regulation.

That’s why treatment at IKANN is delivered by a multidisciplinary team. Your care may involve:

Licensed therapists
Trauma specialists
EMDR practitioners
Psychiatric providers
Case managers
Nutrition professionals
Wellness specialists
Group facilitators
Recovery mentors

Each member of the team works collaboratively to ensure that treatment remains coordinated and personalized.

Our Therapists

Therapy is where much of the deeper healing happens.

Our therapists are trained in evidence based approaches including:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
EMDR
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Trauma Informed Care
Somatic Therapy
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

They help women understand not only what happened, but how those experiences continue to shape thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behaviors today.

For Jewish Track clients, therapists also understand the unique challenges that can exist within observant communities.

The pressure to appear fine. The fear of judgment. The impact of family reputation. The difficulty of discussing trauma when the person involved remains part of community life.

These realities are understood here.

Psychiatric Support

Mental health conditions are medical conditions.

Depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and many other conditions often benefit from psychiatric evaluation and medication management.

Our psychiatric providers work closely with the clinical team to ensure that treatment remains integrated and effective.

Medication decisions are never made in isolation.

Every recommendation is considered within the context of the individual’s treatment plan, lifestyle, and long term goals.

Case Management & Care Coordination

Healing doesn’t happen only inside therapy sessions.

Many women entering treatment need support navigating:

Family responsibilities
Work obligations
School commitments
Housing concerns
Financial stressors
Insurance coordination
Long term recovery planning

Our case management team helps remove practical barriers so women can focus on treatment and recovery.

Nutrition & Wellness Professionals

Mental health and physical health are deeply connected.

Our nutrition and wellness team helps clients address:

Eating disorders
Nutritional deficiencies
Gut health concerns
Energy regulation
Sleep disturbances
Stress related physical symptoms

For Jewish Track participants, nutritional guidance can be fully adapted to kosher requirements and religious observance.

Women Who Understand Women

One of the defining features of IKANN Wellness is our women only environment.

Every aspect of care is designed with women’s experiences in mind.

Women often carry responsibilities that continue even while struggling. They care for children. Manage households. Support spouses. Maintain careers. Meet community expectations.

Our team understands the unique emotional burden that many women carry and creates treatment plans that account for those realities.

Why Cultural Competency Matters

Many women delay treatment because they are afraid they won’t be understood.

For Jewish women, that fear is often justified.

A provider who doesn’t understand the significance of Shabbos. A therapist who interprets religious observance as pathology. A treatment program that ignores privacy concerns within close knit communities.

These experiences create barriers to care.

The Jewish Track was developed to remove those barriers. Our team understands:

Community expectations
Privacy concerns
Family reputation pressures
Shidduch related fears
Religious observance
Kosher dietary needs
Holiday scheduling considerations

This understanding allows treatment to begin where it should begin.

With healing. Not explanation.

Our Commitment

Every member of the IKANN Wellness team shares a common commitment.

To provide compassionate, evidence based care that respects each woman’s history, values, goals, and individual path to recovery.

No assumptions. No judgment. No one size fits all approach.

Just highly individualized care delivered by professionals who genuinely care about the women they serve.
